BOTTLE RECALLS MYSTERY By Telegraph.--Press Assn —Copyright. Capetown, Nov. 16. The mysterious disappearance of the liner Waratah, which left Durban for Capetown on July 26. 1909, and was never heard of again. ha»s been recalled by the discovery in 'Pablo Bay of a. bottle which apparently fcas been a long time in the water. It was stopped with lead, and contained a paper bearing the words, written in pencil: “Send, help, starving; Waratah on island in Antarctic.” The message is generally believed to be a hoax.
