FRIENDLY WITH WIFE.
SEQUEL TO AN ASSAULT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Reed, George Irvine Elliott and William Thomas Ferris were found guilty of assaulting William Francis O’Brien. The assault, which was said to be the result of O’Brien being too friendly with Elliott’s wife, was committed in a public street, and O’Brien suffered a broken jaw and bruises. Sentence waz deferred.
