Dudley Ward, a Liberal M.P. Baronets—-Sir W. Bull, Sir W. lE. Hume-Williams, Unionist M.P.’a; Sir Ernest Pollock, Attorney-General in Mr. Lloyd George’s Ministry. Knights—Mr. Walford Davis, musician; Mr. Richard Terry, organist. Knights of the Bath—Mr. Alfred Cope, for services in the Irish settlement; Mr. J. H. Davies, private secretary to Mr. Lloyd George. Grand Cross of the British Empire— Sir Philip Sassoon, Mr. .1. 11. Lewis. Loudon, Nov. 10. The following honors are announced in connection with the resignation of the Lloyd George Government: —Lord Birkenhead has received an earldom; Lords Let and Leverhubne viscountcies; and Mr. Hall Caine, Mr. Winston Churchill, and the Rev. J. S. Jowett have been made Companions of Honor.
