HIGH TREASON.
GREEK POLITICIANS CHARGED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Athens, Nov. 8. It is reported that the Cabinet will resign and be re-formed under a new Premier. Greece and Jugo-Slavia have reached an agreement regarding a commercial treaty, and the question of the free zone at Salonika. They have also arranged for joint action at the Lausanne conference, particularly regarding the Bulgarian outlet to the Aegean Sea. The official report on the Asia Minoi disaster accuses politicians, whose namei are detailed, and Hadjanestis, of high treason; firstly, that They recalled Constantine despite the Allied warnings, by announcing the result of the plebiscite as 99 per cent, in favor of Constantine’s return, which figures were grossly exaggerated ; seconly, it is alleged that the politicians’ conduct aided the enemy's advance, and tht late Government is accused of having unnecessarily delayed advising Constantine to abdicate. The third charge alleges that Ministers entrusted the high commands to Constantine, but did not. make him responsible for the army’s reverses, and continually misrepresented these reverses as successes. The fourth allegation is that the army was not' furnished with adequate provisions, and that operations were oi.lered without the necessary preparations and public money was squandered. The fifth charge relates to Hadj; withdrawal of troops from Asia Minor and their transference to Thrace. The trial is fixed for November 13.
