BATTLE IN DUBLIN. SUDDEN ASSAULT ON TROOPS. ATTACK WHILE ON PARADE. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 9, 5.5 p.m. London. Nov. 9. National troops were parading at Wellington barracks, Dublin, this morning, when a withering maehine-gun and rifle fire wag opened from the canal bank on the west side and from housetops on the east. A fierce fight raged for two hours, after which the attackers were silenced. One Nationalist soldier was killed and 20 seriously wounded. Several of the attackers were wounded and six were captured. A vanman conveying meat to the barracks was shot dead, and a child going to school was wounded. The troops captured a machine-gun.
