STORM AT TIMARU.

A MAN KILLED. By Telegraph.- Press Association. Timaru Last Night. A very severe storm, with thunder and lightning, occurred at Hazelbourne, on the Fairlie line this afternoon, about two o’clock. About 7JO a search party came upon the body of Dan Pierce, a farm laborer, who had been killed by a falling tree. Pierce had taken shelter below the tree during the height of the storm, and was killed in its fall.
