A SHELL EXPLODES.
SEVENTEEN PERSONS KILLED. TRIED TO MELT IT DOWN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Received Nov. 9, 5.5 p.m. Delhi, Nov. 8. A Lucknow message says a shell exploded at Moradabad, killing and wounding seven. An ex-soldier who had served in France and Mesopotamia brought home a live shell as a curio and passed it to a blacksmith, who, by attempting to melt st, caused a terrific explosion.—Reuter Service.
