CHEAPER MONEY.

SMALL LOAN IN LONDON. LOWEST RATE FOR TEN YEARS An announcement concerning the racing of a small loan in London at a low rate of interest was made by the Prime Minister in hie address at New Plymouth last night. Mr. Massey said he considered that money in England would be much cheaper during the next year or two, and his belief was based on his experiences when in England. He had recently received an offer from a firm in England for £500,000 at a low rate, but the price was confidential. He had replied stating that he would take £1,000,000, and had got it at a. price not dreamt of in New Zealand during the past ten yeans. (Applause.) This was an indication of cheaper money and a proof of the confidence which the financial people felt in regard to the Dominion of New Zealand.
