STRATFORD SHOW.
Messrs. Borthwick and Son* have donated £5 to the Stratford A. and P. Association to be devoted as prize money* in the class for .pigs between 60 and lOOlbs in weight, the pigs to be sent to the Waitara works and exported to England. The Stratford Jersey Cattle Club have increased the prize money for pedigree yearling Jersey bulls to £2 first prize and £1 second prize. Mr. J. W. Boon and the secretary (Mr. A. J. Barr) have returned from the Manawatu Show and report that exceptional interest is (being shown amongst exhibitors, and that the entries recorded at that show constituted a great increase, and the prospects of visiting stock at the Stratford show were exceedingly good.
