They expeet to make a stiffer fight at the Parliament tary elections. Received Nov. 3, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 2. In fourteen London Borough Councilfl Labor lost 159 seats and gained four. THE CAPITAL LEVY. Received Nov. 3, 9.35 p.m. London, Nov. 2. It is considered significant following Mr. J. R. Clynes’ remark that Labor was not wedded to the idea of a capital levy, that the Labor candidates at Glasgow received general instructions that the capital levy was only a suggestion and not a definite proposal.
