This means that the secondary supplementary roll and the final roll will be closed at 6 p.m. on that day. THE KAIAPOI SEAT. Christchurch, Last Night. Mr. R. D. Martin, Independent Labor candidate for Kaiapoi, opened his campaign at Kaiapoi to-night, when be addressed a well-attended meeting or electors. He remarked that though an independent he was closely associated With Labor and had the interests of the workers at heart. In the main he supported Mr. Holland’s platform. He was accorded a vote of thanks.
