METHODS OF TRAIN WRECKERS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 2, 11.40 p.m. London, Nov. 2. New methods have been employed by train wreckers in Ireland. They stopped a train, cleared out the passengers, and cut the rails behind the coaches. They then detached the engine and drove it thrice at full speed against the standing coaches. CLAIMS FOR COMPENSATION. Received November 2, 7.45 p.m. Londori, Nov. 1. Mr. Cosgrove, in Dail Eireann, an. nounced that claims for compensation for the destruciton of property since the truce of July, 1921, already amounted to £30,000,000. The Dail refused a Labor proposal to allow claims for loss of wages to be added.
