PARK PROWLERS.
OPERATIONS IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received Nov. 2, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Nov. 1. At the inquest on Mrs. Kearney, two witnesses admitted that they were members of organised day and night gangs of touts, who prowl the parks bag-snatching and blackmailing. The occupation yielded from a few shillings to £4 weekly. The gangs have been operating for several years.
