ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MAN FOUND DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waipukurau, October 30. A man named Midley Gordon, aged about 50, was found drowned in the river here on Saturday. Deceased is a stranger and is suposed to have come from Wanganui.
MOTOR-CAR SOMERSAULTS. Auckland, October 30. About half-past ten last night a motor-car containing eight people turned a complete somersault while returning bo the city from St. Heliers. Two occupants, Robert Hubbard (aged 24), residing in New North Road, and Miss Flora M‘Donald (aged 17), residing in Mount Albert, are in the public hospital. Hubbard is suffering from internal injuries, and Miss McDonald sustained B»v»Ttt cuts
