EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
VOICE OF THE DOMINIONS. REPRESENTATION GIVEN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 29, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 2W. The Duke of Devonshire, chairman of the Empire Exhibition executive, announces that in order to secure the closest co-operation in utilising the Empires resources to the utmost possible extent, the Empire Exhibition executive council have unanimously resolved:
(1) That the High Commissioners, chairmen of group committees of colonies and protectorates, shall be invited to become members of the council. (2) That the High Commissioners be invited to join the management committee, with the commissioner in each Dominion exhibit as an alternative member. (3) That as the council’s policy is that materials and supplies required for service at the exhibition shall be produced within the Empire, a sub-com-mittee be appointed, consisting of three representatives of the council, two members nominated by the High Commissioners, and one representing colonies and protectorates, to report on the best method of achieving this end.—Aus.N.Z.
