NORTH TARANAKI PLAY. I SATURDAY'S MATCHES. The North Taranaki Cricket Association's cup competitions were continued on Saturday under almost ideal weather conditions. In the A grade Western Park met Inglewood at Inglewood, and Urenui met Waitara at. Urenul. The Old Boys’ match with New Plymouth was not played owing to the High School sports, while all the High School fixtures in both grades were postponed for the sa<me reason. Harbor Works met New Plymouth nt the Racecourse and had a runaway victory, knocking up 193 to their opponents’ 33. Kinsella and Galbraith, with 43 runs apiece, headed the scoring tally, with Carey 38 next. Shepherd, with .10, and Morris, with 13, did the scoring for New Plymouth. Bowling for Harbor Works. Cameron got five wickets for 12 .runs, while Carey also created havoc with three wickets for 4, the other two wickets being taken by Kinsella for 7 runs and G. Carey for 6. For New Plymouth Hughes accounted for three wickets for 21, Osborne two for 23. Hawkind two for 45, Shepherd one for 18, and Riding one for 28. WESTERN PARK WANDERERS v. WESTERN PARK ROVERS. The Wanderers met the Rovers at Western Park, and secured a victory by 20 runs in a. low scoring match. Wanderers batted first and compiled 45 runs (Oakley. 12), Rovers replying with 50 runs (N. Harris 15, Bullot 13, and Hoskin 11). Wanderers declared in their second innings with eight wickets down for 60 runs (Bishop 22 and Fairbrother 10). Requiring 56 runs to win. Rovers shaped badly, and were dismissed for 35 runs (Machu 11, L. Harris 10). Bowlbig for Wanderers, Bishop secured ten wickets for 30 runs, O’Donnell six for 22, Scrivener onib for 27, and E.
