WANGANUI SHOW.
NOVEMBER 8 AND 9. The Wanganui Agricultural Association’s grand annual show will be held at the Wanganui racecourse on Wednesday and Thursday, November 6th and 9th next. The schedule is a very attractive one, with valuable trophies and good prize money offering for exhibitors. There are a wide number of classes for horses, cattle, thetp, and pigs, and the home industries section, which includes needlework, cooking, soldiers’ exhibits, school children’s work etc. For both days- of the show an attractive programme of ring event? has been arranged, a feature being the West Coast champion hunters’ jumping competition, which in addition to trophies, carries £4O in prize money. Entries for Home Industries schools, needlework, etc., close on October 28th, while entries of all stock classes closq on November 3rd. , In conjunction with the Show, the Wanganui Canine Society’s Annual ex: hibition will be held, for which entries also close on November 3rd.
