Mr. “Pussyfoot” Johnson, when leaving Blenheim for Nelson on his recent visit, entered the Club Hotel before 9 o’clock and purchased two cigars. The local paper featured the fact tnat Mr. Johnson was not above entering licensed premises during prohibited hours. Mr. Johnson, in a letter to the editor, admits the fact as stated, and demands that if he violated the law that he be prosecuted or the accusation contained in the newspaper be withdrawn.
