ARAWHATA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The milking season Is in full swing. Cheese of first grade quality is likely to be, turned out shortly. Stock is looking well, and feed is plentiful, thanks to the recent rains. Horses look quite enticing, with their new silken summer coats. They seem quite relieved to doff their winter coats of fur. We notice that Mr. Field, junior, and his assistants have been quite busy lately digging up stones in one of his paddocks. We were wondering If they are digging for gold on Dwarf Hill. The local school children, under the direction of the teacher, are practising for their annual concert. They are energetic and full of interest in the work, so the concert should be a pronounced success. Our worthy settlers have been busy lately filling up gaps on the road. This road should become an important highway in time.
