PREMATURE EXPLOSION.
TWO MEN INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Tamarunui, Oct. 21. Two men, A. H. McLean aged 47, (single) and Ben. Brothers aged 22, (single), were seriously injured while blasting rock on a cutting at Ongarue this afternoon, owing to a premature explosion. Brothers was rendered unconscious and McLean suffered from shock and a fractured arm. They are now in the Taumarunui hospital.
