ADDITIONAL AWARDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, Oct. 20. Favored with fine weather, the attendance at the show on People’s Day easily constituted a record, and was estimated at 20,000. Additional championship awards.—Horses : Draught mare, Donald’s Estate, Hawera, reserve; Clydesdales, Donald’s Estate, champion; Union Co.’s Cup for best Clydesdale mare or filly, Donald’s Estate: best working draught, George Leslie, Hastings. Milking Shorthorn bull and cow, Mrs. W. J. Wall (Hastings), champion.
Carnival week provides one continuous round of merriment. The open-air sports last night in the park were a huge success.
