TEAMS FOR TO-DAY. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A Grade.—V. Waitara, at Waitara: Clarke, Lambert, B. Hughes, Ferry, Newbold, Sheppard, Saunders, Stainton, Hasell, Inch, Mackay. B. Grade.—V. Waitara, at Racecourse Na. 1 ground: Hawkins, O’Donncil, Thomas, W. J. Hughes, Stephenson, M. Hughes, Sheppard, Osborne, Hiding, Andrews, Clotv.i.rth.v; reserves, M. May, F. Morris. Players are requested to be on the ground at 1 p.m. sharp. A NEW ASSOCIATION. At a largely-attended meeting, held at Brixton, convened by the Brixton Cricket Club, it was decided to form a North Taranaki Country Cricket Association, embracing the Tikorangi, Waipapa, Brixton, Bell Block and Tarurutangl Cricket Clubs. Fixtures were drawn up, to commence on November 4, with a lapse in the playing period between the second Saturday In December and the last Saturday in January, so as to allow the farmers (of which the clubs are composed) to do ihier harvesting. Application is to be made to the North Taranaki Cricket Association for affiliation, so as to have their players recognised for "rep.” honors and other benefits, if any. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. James Sarten, Tlkorangl; president, Mr. H. M. Purdie, Waitara; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. H. Grayling (Brixton), H. Sampson (Bell Block), John Whitehead (Tikorangi), H. C. Sampson (Hillsborough), Percy Cole (Motunul). The executive is to consist of two delegates from each club. Mr. Gilmour was elected chairman of the committee. Fixtures for the first round were arranged as follows:

November 4.—Brixton v. Tarurutangi, at Brixton; Tikorangi v. Bell Block, at Tikorangi.

November 11.—Bell Block v. Brixton, at Bell Block; Tarurutangi v. W'alpapa, at Tarurutangi. November 18.—-Brixton v. Tikorangi, at Brixton ; Waipapa v. Bell Block, at Bell Block. November 25.—8e1l Block v. Tarurutangi, at Tarurutangi; Tikorangi v. Waipapa, at Tikorangi. December 2.—Brixton v. Waipapa, at Brixton; Tarurutangi v. Tikorangi, at Tikorangi. The Daily News has offered a trophy for competition amongst the teams of the new association.
