A MISSING BANKRUPT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 19. Harold Richard Peard, who was due for public examination in bankruptcy, again failed to appear at the Supreme Court to-day. Counsel for the official assignee said it was reported that a police sergeant in Auckland had seen Peard on board a steamer leaving for Sydney, but his name was not in the passenger list. The case was adjourned sine die to enable the assignee to make any necessary application. Counsel said it was alleged that Peard had committed extraditable ogences.
