The market was very firm for all sorts and prices were well main-tained.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SALE AT CHRISTCHURCH. INCREASE IN PRICES. 2y Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, Last Night. A clearing-up sale of odd lots, held by local woolbrokers, took place to-day, 1100 bales being offered to a fair attendance of buyers, fellmongers predominating. Prices all round showed an increase, which augurs well for the new season's clip. Merino fleece macle 17i|d, halfbred 17}d, three-quarter-bred 10$d, crossbred 9Jd, Cocriedale 15d, halfbred pieces 124 d, merino crutchings 9|d, halfbred Bd, crossbred 5Jd, three-quarter-bred GAd, bellies Bifd.
