Competition, which was very keen, came from all quarters at late rates, and good clearances were effected. Received Oct. 18, 11 p.m. London, Oct. 17. The wool sales were animated and the market keen, with general competition. Everything was very firm. New Zealand “Beaumont” realised 23d.
