THE WHEAT MARKET. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London. Oct. 15. Cargoes are firmly held, and sellers are asking 3d advance. Parcels are quiet after a week of advances. WORLD’S WHEAT CROP. London, Oct. m. The world’s’ wheat crop is estimated at 377 million quarters, compared with 352 million quarters last year. INQUIRY FOR DOMINION PORK. Wellington, Oct. 111. The Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable stating that inquiries have been made in London for earcases of pork at' 120 to ISO pounds, suitable for curing, and up to SO I pounds as porkers. The board is asked to indicate what New Zealand se’lers are prepared to quote c.i.f.. and the Home buyers’ ideas of prices are stated to be 8d to 9d per pound. BUTTER AND CHEESE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd. have received the following cablegram from their London house | under date 13th instant: — i New Zealand Butter.—2lßs to 222 s per cwt.
