TARANAKI LAND AGENTS.

ANNUAL ASSOCIATION MEETING. The annual meeting of the Taranaki Land Agents’ Association was held at Stratford yesterday, the president (Mr. J. Hignett) presiding. There were also present : Messrs. E. L. Humphries, R. A. Large, C. Fairbrother, A. Yarndley, M. McGarry, M. McDonald, C. R. Finnerty, C. Jackson, A. Klee, and N. Hill. The annual report stated, inter alia: “The executive have to again congratulate you on having passed through another successful year. It is with regret that the executive have to report the resignations of two of the officials elected last year, viz., Messrs. Lynskey and Robertson, both of whom have gone to reside in the South Island. The executive appointed Mr. J. Hignett as president for the remainder of the term. The balance sheet shows members’ subscriptions owing to be £29 Bs, of which £8 8s has since been paid, leaving £2l still outstanding. A portion of this, the committee regret to say, will not be available. The finances of the association are very satisfactory, showing a credit balance of £ll3 9s 9d, less outstanding subscriptions amounting to about £l4 14s. During the year Mr. R. A. Large attended the annual meeting of the Dominion association, a report of which is available to members.” The report and balance sheet were adopted.
