The guarantee fund of the British Empire Exhibition amounts to £1,166,000, but the promoters hope that it will be doubL'l in order that their hands may be strengthened in the development of Empire trad *, especially as all profits will be divide! among the Governments of Britain, the Dominions and the Colonies for public purposes, in proportion to the area occupied.
