There was fine weather, broken by showers, for the second day of the Whangarei races, but the course was holding after a heavy rainstorm last evening. There was a good attendance. The attendance was moderate. The investments were £31,051 10s, against £25,855 or. the second day last year, and the total for the imeeting was £50,251 10s, against £48,656 last year.
