Imports decreased £9.934.403. exports increased £7,263.521. and re-exports decreased £2,213.201 in September. The principal 'decreases in imports were: Grain and flour £7,817.269, meat £2.849,708. non-dutiable food and drink £1.422,540, iron and steel £1.047.849. Decrease in exports: Vehicles £1.418,991. Principal increases were: In imports, wood and timber £1,699,470: in exports, coal £2,915.727. cotton yarns and manufactures £3,084.437.
