He was officially welcomed by various Catholic organisations, the route to the cathedral being lined by thousands. MOVE TO STOP STRIKE. Received Oct. 15, 5.5 p.m. Hobart, Oct. 14. In the Practice Court, an application by the Electrolytic Zinc Company for an injunction to restrain the Engineers’ Union from striking or assisting a strike of the company’s employees for the purpose of securing a reauction of the working hours from 48 to 44 weekly, was dismissed.
