A MOTOR FATALITY.

SAB’S FORTY FOOT DROP. ONE KILLED; OTHERS INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, Last Night. A motor fatality occurred yesterday about midday on the Bowen Road, 4 miles from Eketahuna, resulting in the z death of David Ayson, married, a motor mechanic,, of Palmerston North. With William Orr (a Custom House agent, of Seatown) and George Ayson, deceased was proceeding from Palmerston to Wellington. Details are meagre, but it appears the car, which was driven by Orr. got into a watertable and in attempting to recover the car made a oound across the road. Before it could oe straightened up it dived headlong over a bank 40 feet high. Dr. Simmers, ; of Eketahuna, brought the injured men :to the Masterton hospital. Ayson expired at Kopuaranga. seven miles from Masterton. The condition of George Ayson is serious, but Orr, beyond bruises, is unhurt.
