EVERYBODY’S.
A THREE STAR BILL TO-NIGHT. The new programme at Everybody’s to-night will include three star items, firstly Frank Kennan in a five reel feature “Smouldering Embers,” secondly another of the popular song pictures “Home Sweet Home” with solo by Miss Annie White, and thirdly a Sherlock Holmes story “A Scandal in Bohemia.” It is doubtful if Frank Keenan has ever had a more charming and sympathetic role than the one in “Smouldering Eiribers.” The love he had for his son was so big and fine and noble that he could enter the boy’s life, save him from disgrace and set him on the road to happiness ,and then go out of it; the boy never knowing that the ragged old tramp was his father he thought dead, but who lived in hie memory as a “regular fellow.” “Home Sweet Home” is a delightful picture of simple beauty and pathos and the picture will be enhanced by Miss Annie White’s singing of the solo part. The Sherlock Holmes stories are Too popular to need comment. Supporting the three star items there is a gazette and travel film.
