PEDIGREE JERSEY BULLS.
A GRI?AT OPPORTUNITY TO DAIRYMEN. Under' the auspices of the Egmont A. and P. Society, the Farmers’ Co-op., N.Z. Loan Co., and R. P. Morrissey and Co. will hold their first annual sale of pedigree Jersey bulls at the show grounds, Hawera, on Wednesday, 18th inst. Altogether 61 bulls will be submitted to auction. These are practically all maiden two-year-olds, and are descended from sires and dams possessing breeding second to none, and which are backed by some of the Dominion’s best butter-fat records. Already the catalogue has attracted attention from various parts of the district, and without hesitation the auctioneers recommend with confidence every bull that it is to be put under the hammer. The following well-known breeders are represented: Messrs. Chas. Goodson, A. B’. Robertson, Jas. Pill, H. Mullions, H. H. Buxton, A. J. Prestidge, H .Wells, S. A. Tippett, W. D. Knowles, D. L. A. Astbury, Fred Hosl’n, Hugh Wills, F. W. Wilson, Leo. McPhillips, L. Kavanagh, A. and B. Muggeridge, Geo. Twidle, G. W. Gane, J. R. Corrigan, W. P. Parsons, E. S. Forsyth, D. E. Scott, D. and E. Bourke, J. B. i Laurenson, G. H. Mills, J. A. McCallum, G. C. Sinclair and A. D. Turner. The catalogue supplies the breeding and butterfat records of each animal in every detail, and it is sure that, after an examination of same, those dairymen who desire to improve their breed will be convinced that this is the sale to secure their requirements. Remember: The herd sire is the keynote to aristocratic breeding and better butter-fat production. Write for catalogue to-day.
