PLAY THIS AFTERNOON. Members and intending members of the New Plymouth Club are requested to attend at Pukekura Park Sports Ground this afternoon, when a club prcatlce will be held. The Sports Ground Committee have laid down a good wicket for practice purposes in the horseshoe bend between the south and east terraces, which will be very convenient for players living in a central position. A team from the Western Park Club will visit Urenul this afternoon and play a friendly, match with that club. The Park Club team is as follows: Grayson, Haig, Prendegast, Simpson, Palmer, Machu, Hally, Morison, R. Hooker, F. Robertson, W. O’Donnell, R. McLean, Hoffmann. Any of these unable to travel are particularly asked to let the secretary know early this morning.
