BANKRUPT ELECTRICIANS.
A FURTHER MEETING. The adjourned meeting of creditors of the electrical firm, Patterson and Blinks, was held yesterday afternoon at the office of the D.0.A., when statements of the private estates of bankrupts were submitted. Under oath, Charles Banks stated that he leased a property at Fitzroy to Mr. Purser, receiving the whole of one year’s rent. £lO5, in advance. This amount had been expended on additions to the house and payment of interest. Mr. E. H. Tribe expressed the opinion that a lost private ledger belonging to bankrupt, if found, might provide further information. To Mr. W. N. Ewing bankrupt stated he had received neither salary nor interest from the firm. Mr. Ewing then moved that if the D.O.A. is satisfied that the contents of ten cases are as stated the creditors do not wish to touch them.—Carried. Bankrupt stated he was now receiving a salary of £7 per week at Petone, but he had no contract with his employers. The meeting was adjourned sine die, creditors expressing dissatisfaction with the non-appearance of Patterson.
