LADIES’ INTER-CLUB MATCH. NEW PLYMOUTH v. STRATFORD. A team of ten ladles from the New Plymouth Club yesterday journeyed to Stratford and tried conclusions against the Stratford Club. The home team proved far too strong, and won both the singles and four-ball games. The visitors were hospitably entertained and had a most enoyable day. The details tre (Stratford players being mentioned first) : Singles. Mrs. Curtis all square with Miss Gavin. Mrs. Hill lost to Miss Rundle, 3 down and 2. Mrs. Burmester beat Miss Thomson, 4 and 2. Mrs. Glasgow beat Miss Stanford, 6 and 4. I Miss Wright beat Miss Bremer, 3 aqd 2. Mrs. Budge beat Mrs. Burke, 1 up. Miss V. Sangster all square with Miss Morton, Mrs. Rutherfurd beat Mrs. C. Weston, 5 anti 4. Mrs. Richards beat Mrs. Waters. 1 up. Miss M. Curtis beat Mrs. Scanion, 6 and 5. Four-ball Match. Mrs. Curtis and Mrs. Hill beat Miss Gavin and Miss Rundle, 1 up. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Glasgow lost to Miss Thomson .and Miss Stanford, 1 down. Miss Wright and Mrs. Budge beat Miss Bremer and Mrs. Burke, 2 up. Miss Sangster and Mrs. Copping lost to Miss Morton and Mrs. Weston, 4 down. • Mrs. Richards and Miss Curtis beat Mrs. Waters and Mrs. Scanlon, 4 up. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Th? final for the New Plymouth Golf Club men’s championship will be played to-day, instead of Saturday, commencing at 11 a.m. The Patea Club can claim to have something of a record in the fact that one of its members, Mr. C. F. Pulley, has won the club championship seven times in succession.
