A NEW K.C.
MR. MICHAEL MYERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 3. Mr. Michael Myers was to-day sworn in as King’s Counsel by Sir Robert Stout, in the presence of Justices Salmond and Adams and distinguished members of the Bar. Mr. Myers is the first barrister appointed K.C. under the new law which bars practice as a solicitor. He has severed his connection with Bell, Gully, Myers and O’Leary, the firm with which he has been connected for nearly thirty years. He is 49 years old, and was born at Motueka and educated in Wellington.
