NEW YORK TO LONDON. By Telegraph'.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received October 2, 7.25 p.m. New York, Oct. 1. Sir Thomas Lipton yesterday for the first time successfully sent a message by telephony radio across the Atlantic, according to a cable received to-day from Sir Thomas Lipton’s London address. Also singing was heard more or less distinctly. 'Sir Thomas Lipton used a four hundred metre wave length apparatus in New York.
