BUTTER AND CHEESE. LONDON QUOTATIONS. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date 28th instant : ‘‘Butter.—Market quiet. Wo quote: New Zealand salted 218 s, g.a.q. Australian 200 s, finest Australian salted and unsalted 208 s, Danish 2225. "Cheese.—Market steady. New Zealand colored 925, white 965.” The following cable has been received by Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., from their London agents, Messrs. R. and W. Davidson, Ltd.: — "Butter market, from 218 s to 2205; cheese market firm, white 94s to 965, colored 92s to 945.”
