BASKET BALL.
CENTRAL SCHOOL VISIT INGLEWOOD. On Saturday the Central School A basket ball team, accompanied by Miss Pearce and numerous supporters, journeyed to Inglewood to try conclusions with the Inglewood school team. The game resulted in a win for the Centra] girls, the scores being 19 points to 9. Miss Park ably refereed. The visitors were hospitably entertained to a sumptuous lunch by the Inglewood girls, after which they were trearet. to a most enjoyable motor ride to the reserve. The headmaster (Mr. Lyall) and his staff devoted the whole day to giving their visitors a good time, and in this they admirably succeeded, the Central girli being delighted with staeir
