FRENCH WHEAT HARVEST.
A HEAVY DEFICIT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 1, 5.5, p.m. Paris, Sept. 30. The Ministry of Agriculture reports that the wheat harvest shows a deficit of twenty-four million quintals, owing to bad weather and reduced cultivation. This will necessitate importations.
