ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES. MOTGR-CAR ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Otaki, Sept. 28. A motor-cad crashed into the Waitohu bridge last night and somersaulted into the river. The occupants were badly shaken. ENGINE-DRIVER’S DEATH. Wellington, Sept. 28. Driver Meachem, who was injured in the mishap to the Main Trunk express on Monday, died in hospital this afternoon.
