FIRE AT A SCHOOL.

EVIDENCE OF INCENDIARISM. By Telegraph.—Tress Association. Auckland, Sept. 22. A fire was discovered under the Avonda/le public school at eight o’clock on Wednesday evening, and was promptly extinguished by the brigade. Inspection showed that a pile of inflammablematerial had been placed underneath the flooring and fired. One joist and a number of floor boards were charred.
