NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. LADIES’ MATCH. The ladies of the New Plymouth Club played a four-ball bogey match at the Waiwakaiho links yesterday afternoon, for prizes donated by Miss Read. Miss Rundle and Mrs. Hill returned a good card of 4 up, doing the round in 88. The following are the results: Miss Rundie (7) and Mrs. Hill (16), 4 up. Miss Bremer (17) and Mrs. Wade (21), 2 up. Mrs. Nicholson (12) and Miss Winfield (24), all square. Mrs. Burke (17) and Mrs. Scanlon (21), all square. Miss Thomson (14) and Miss Read (17), 3 down. Mrs. Quilliam (13) and Miss Goldwater (19), 4 down. Miss Gavin (8) and Mrs. C. Weston (17), 4 down. Next Tuesday a flag match will be played for Mrs. C. M. Hill’s prizes, players to choose their own partners. ELTHAM CLUB. In the final round of the junior championship of the Eltham eTub, H. G. McDonald defeated A. G. Anderson 5 up and 4 to play. Last week. Dr. Boyd, of Eltham, playing round the Eltham links, holed out the seventh hole in 1. This hole is a “blind” mashie shot up a steep hill, and this is the first time it has been done in one.
