WEDDING.
WHITTON—TA YLOR. A very simple wedding took place at St. Mary’s Church last night, at 6.30 o’clock, when Enid Dorothy, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. S. Taylor, of London, was married to Noel Stewart, only son of Dr. and Mrs. James Whitton, of Oamaru. The Rev. E. H. Strong officiated, and Mr. Renaud presided at the organ. The church was tastefully decorated with clematis and primroses. The bride, who was given away by her uncle (Mr. A. H. Halcombe-, looked charming under her filmy veil and orange blossoms, in an exquisite frock of white petalled georgette, the petals edged with tiny silver beads. After light refreshments at “Noradene,” Dr. and Mrs. Whitton left late in the evening for the Mountain, the bride’s going-away fro.:k being a grey coat frock stitched with blue, with blue folded charmeuse hat io match.
