PAYMENT OF INTEREST. DATE OF FIRST INSTALMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Sept. 15, 11.20 p.m. New York, Sept. 15. The Herald’s Washington correspondent reports that the Treasury Department states Britain will begin the payment of interest on its debt to the United States on October 15, when the half-yearly interest on 125 million dollars falls due.
