DAIRY PRODUCE.
THE CONTROL PROPOSALS. REQUEST TO GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assocfatlon. Wellington, Last Night. Following on a meeting of held in Wellington yesterday a deputation waited on the Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture to-day and discussed with him the decision to ask for a dairy produce pool. Subsequently it was learned that the deputation submitted their general proposals and that more definite suggestions would be brought forward in a day or two. Until the matter is further explained it is understood that the Government will not commit itself, though it is believed that what has been asked for so far is not regarded as unreasonable.
