VICTORY FOR “WET” FORCES. By Telegraph.—Press* Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 7, 7.55 p.m. New York, Sept. 6. Senator Robert La Follette regained Republican nomination for the Senate from Wisconsin by an overwhelming majority of 150,000. This is considered a distinct victory for the “wet” forces, in view of the fact that Senator La Follette’s opponent, Mr. William Ganfield, alone had the support of the Anti-Saloon League.
