DEATHS IN AMERICA. By Tetcgrapb.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Sept. 7, 7.55 p.m. New York, Sept. 6. Eight men and women have died during the last three days from drinking wood alcohol and whisky, all bought from the same surreptitious seller, who is believed to be a woman, the owner of a small restaurant. A number of persons have gone blind, and others are seriously ill. The police believe the death list will grow, since a great quantity of poisoned liquor has been distributed from one source in Mil-waukee.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Received Sept. 7, 9 pun.
